How We Can Help

Families, children, youth and individuals with needs/challenges or concerns need information and clarity on the resources available to them. Our community has experienced a number of changes that resulted in confusion about available resources. Because of the large demographic area, the Sturgeon Region is served by several different service boundaries. For example, Human Resources and Employment boundaries result in persons with the Sturgeon Region being served by one of three different offices.

We maintain a database of community services and supports. From this database, we can provide you with contact information for the programs, services and resources you are looking for. 

If you are facing a challenge and are not sure where to turn, our staff can listen and suggest resources suited to your individual needs, researching additional resources when necessary.

We also liaise with communities and agencies to meet the needs of our region, identifying gaps in services and advocating for additional resources.
